So, we are stationed here in florida.. eglin afb. We have been here almost 3 years. My first base. My first home with my husband and children. My first home away from home.
Last week we found out that due to military budget cuts they will be shutting down my husband's squadron.. which for us means that we will be sent elsewhere within the next year. I am so nervous and so excited. I am already over 2000 miles away from home i cant exactly get further haha i am hoping that this will bring me closer to my family back in CA...
I have to say, i am kind of sad to leave florida. This has become my home. I have gotten so used to it already. The beach is literally minutes away walking...
The best and most positive way for me to look at this is...
We are going to experience a new adventure together. It will be amazing.
